Reference
Dosing information, sorted by where it came from
A dose is not a fact with a single owner. A regulator approved one, a study gave a group another, a clinic published a third, and forums argue about a fourth. Therapept keeps those apart instead of averaging them.
How to read these pages
Every dose entry on Therapept belongs to exactly one of five source kinds. They are never mixed on a chart, and one kind is never used to verify another.
- Official
Official product dosing
Approved indication, route, dose, frequency and titration, sourced only from the FDA label, DailyMed or the manufacturer's prescribing information.
- Human study
Published human study doses
Intervention parameters reported in individual published human studies. Each study stays separate; parameters are never aggregated across studies.
- Animal
Published animal studies
Clearly labelled animal research. Animal dosing is never visually mixed with human study data and is not evidence of human response.
- Clinical ref.
Clinical / professional references
Protocols published by identifiable professional, clinic or pharmacy sources, recorded with author/clinic, date accessed and context.
- Community
Community-reported ranges
What people report discussing or doing in forums, on Reddit and in videos. Included only to show demand and reported practice — never as clinical evidence.
Therapept does not recommend doses. This reference exists because people are already looking for this information — the useful thing we can add is where each number actually came from, and what kind of source it is.
Compounds with a dosing reference
- LiraglutideAn approved drug with a labelled dose schedule. The label is the authoritative source; research-chemical copies of liraglutide are not the labelled product.Official
- IpamorelinNo approved product exists. Human data are limited to pharmacology studies of the compound itself; everything beyond those studies comes from lower source tiers.Human studyAnimalCommunity
- CJC-1295Two distinct molecules share this name. The published human trials used the DAC (albumin-binding) form; the non-DAC fragment sold as “Mod GRF 1-29” has no comparable published human dose data in this file.Human studyCommunity
- BPC-157No approved product and no registered human trials in this file. The only human data indexed are a small retrospective case series; animal literature is extensive but comes from largely one research network.Human studyCommunity
- TB-500The published human dose picture for the TB-500 fragment specifically is effectively empty: the wound-healing literature concerns full-length thymosin β4, a different molecule. Compound-specific confusion is the story here.Community
- Melanotan IIA pilot Phase I study exists; no approved product. The study's own conclusion was about dose selection for future Phase I work, not therapy.Human studyCommunity
- SemaglutideAn approved drug with labelled schedules. Unapproved GLP-1 products are a separate regulatory matter and their contents are not the labelled drug.OfficialHuman study
Looking for a compound that is not here? A missing entry means Therapept has not yet reviewed dose-bearing sources for it — not that no dose information exists. The dosing chart shows the whole file at a glance, and the peptide library lists every compound (32 records).
