Affiliate and ownership disclosure

Where Therapept has a commercial interest, and how you can tell from the page itself.

Ownership interests

Therapept's owner holds interests in other businesses operating in the peptide sector. Those businesses are described on Therapept as affiliated properties, and every link to one carries that label plus an explicit statement that it is not an independent recommendation.

This is disclosed at the point of the link rather than in a policy page nobody reads, so the relationship is visible before a reader decides whether to click.

How links are labelled

Every outbound link to a commercial business carries one of four labels:

  • Affiliated property — the business shares ownership with Therapept. Not an independent recommendation.
  • Featured partner — a paid placement. Not an independent recommendation.
  • Partner — a commercial relationship exists. Not an independent recommendation.
  • Editorial listing — no commercial relationship and no payment for the placement.

Technical treatment

Links to owned, paid or affiliate destinations are marked so that they pass no search ranking signal. Editorial links are not.

Outbound links to commercial properties carry campaign parameters so that Therapept can measure which material sends traffic where. Those parameters identify the referring page, not the reader.

What disclosure does not change

Disclosure does not make an affiliated listing equivalent to an independent one, and Therapept does not claim otherwise. The directories exist to make that distinction legible rather than to obscure it.

Commercial relationships do not affect what is recorded in a directory field. A field is documented, self-reported or unknown regardless of who owns the company.
