The equation actually used

concentration = peptide amount ÷ liquid volume

5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL (2500 mcg/mL)

volume for entered amount = amount ÷ concentration

0.25 mg ÷ 2.5 mg/mL = 0.1 mL = 10 units on a U100 syringe

Every row is the same arithmetic at a different diluent volume — more liquid means lower concentration and larger volumes for the same mass.

What this tool deliberately does not do

  • It does not recommend a vial amount, a diluent volume or a dose. Every input is yours.
  • It does not account for net peptide content — if a certificate reports less than 100%, the true concentration is lower.
  • It does not know whether a given peptide is soluble at the resulting concentration; solubility is compound- and formulation-specific.
  • It is not medical advice, and it says nothing about whether any of this is appropriate for a person.
