Therapept publishes reference information about chemical substances, the organisations that test and supply them, and the regulatory environment they sit in. That is the whole of its scope.

What is deliberately absent

Therapept does not publish dosing, reconstitution, administration or preparation instructions, protocols, cycles, stacks, or any description of the effects of a compound in humans. These omissions are deliberate and are not oversights to be filled in by request.

Regulatory status is not a safety assessment

Where a compound record states a regulatory position — approved, unapproved, referenced in FDA compounding materials, listed by an anti-doping authority — that describes how the substance is classified. It is not a statement about safety, and it says nothing about the quality of any particular material.

Many substances described here have no approved human use anywhere. Some appear in FDA publications precisely because the agency has published safety concerns about them.

Directory listings are not endorsements

Inclusion in the supplier or laboratory directory is not a recommendation, a verification, or a warranty. Therapept records what organisations publish about themselves and marks the provenance of each field. Verifying a supplier or a laboratory before relying on it remains the reader's responsibility.
