What “In Vitro” Means

In vitro means in glass: a cell, enzyme or biochemical system. Human cells in a dish are still an in-vitro study. They are not a clinical trial.

Khavinson’s 2003 epithalon telomerase paper is in vitro: cultured human somatic cells. It does not show that the tetrapeptide reaches those cells in a living person, or that a lifespan endpoint moved.
