Interpreting Peptide Research Without Turning It Into a Protocol

The honest reading of a peptide paper stops at population, endpoint and limitations. Crossing into what a reader should take is a different product, and not this one.

  • Who or what was studied.
  • What was measured.
  • What the design can support.
  • What the authors (or later reviewers) list as limits.
  • Whether the molecule in the paper is the molecule on the label.

If a paper used full-length thymosin β-4, it is not a TB-500 study. If it used GEREF, it is not a current research-chemical catalogue. Those distinctions live on the identity records.
