ISO/IEC 17025
The international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, granted by an accreditation body for a defined scope of methods.
Accreditation is laboratory-specific and scope-specific, and is verifiable on the accreditation body's public register. It does not transfer to a laboratory's customers.
